Thinking Activity

This morning Miss Tito has given us a challenge to complete with only 5 different objects. Our question was , "you are stuck outside , how can you protect yourself". We all where put in to random groups of 3 and where to work together to complete the task we were given. Me and charm where given a measuring tape , banana , bike , sunflower and a paint brush. We had failed our challenge but next time we will surely succeed.

The last week of the term

“Yess” as i whispered to myself “Its almost the production and also the end of the term”

past this week students from class 19 to 22 have been gathering in room 22 to finish off the last parts of there costumes. Me and a few of my class mates have been sent to Mrs Nua’s class so that we don’t distract or disturb the dancers for the production. For 3 days from Tuesday Point England School has been putting on a production to entertain people in the community.

In Mrs Nua’s class our instruction was to do a blog post about the recent teams that have been playing in the rugby world cup games or about rugby players. I wrote about the magnificent player Jonah Lomu and all the games he has played. I’ve found out that Jonah Lomu is one of the most successful players ever in the world.

Tonight the first production will be at Point England School in the hall. I couldn’t wait until the production was going to start. This week is the last for the term our school. I am so excited to wait for the holidays.

This term I really felt disapointed in myself because I have’nt been doing good in my work. But I feel proud because of my behavior around the school. Next term i’m hoping to make that term perfect for myself.

Math Whizz

This week for maths we have been learning on a site called math whizz.

The strategy i have been learning is division. Here you can see i have completing my work and solving out problems. Here is a little snapshot on my left.

Rugby World Cup.

Last week before the rugby world cup had started I've been seeing people holding there country flags. Everyone have been waiting for the first game to start. New Zealand vs Tonga. On Friday the first game was going to start after the opening had finished. I gathered my country flag and rushed to watch the opening at Eden park Auckland. We zoomed throught the Motorway so that we dont get stuck in traffic.

Rugby World Cup.

7's Champs

Last week Our Rugby 7’s boys went to down to Tauranga to enter the Aims Games Tournament. Our boys played with pride and passion and got into the grand final. They won and are the best team in New Zealand.

When our Rugby 7’s boys came back we were all proud of our boys that we gave them a welcoming assembly. We all rushed to the hall and waited for Mr Jacobson to introduce the boys. “Come in boys!” Mr Jacobson yelled through the Microphone. The team walked through the door with pride and honour in there hearts as Mr Jacobson announced each name which started from the captain Jonty and ended with the last person, Ieremus. The crowd went wild. WE WERE SO PROUD!
